Understanding Booking Statuses

Bookings move through different stages from creation to completion.

Pending

Customer has paid and the booking is awaiting your confirmation.

Confirmed

You have confirmed the appointment. The customer receives a confirmation email.

Completed

The appointment has been completed. This is the final successful state.

Cancelled

The booking was cancelled by you or the customer. A refund may be processed.

1

Viewing Your Bookings

Find and review all your customer appointments.

Access your bookings from the Bookings page in your dashboard:

  • All Bookings – See every booking in a list view
  • Search – Find bookings by customer name or service
  • Filter by Date – View bookings within a specific date range
  • Calendar View – See bookings on a visual calendar

Click on any booking to view full details including customer information, service, date/time, and payment status.

2

Confirming Appointments

Let customers know their booking is confirmed.

When a customer completes payment, the booking appears as Pending. To confirm:

  1. Go to Bookings and find the pending booking
  2. Click to view the booking details
  3. Review the appointment information
  4. Click "Confirm Booking"

What happens: The customer receives a confirmation email with the appointment details. The booking status changes to "Confirmed".

3

Completing Appointments

Mark appointments as done after the service is provided.

After you've provided the service:

  1. Find the confirmed booking in your list
  2. Click to view the booking details
  3. Click "Mark as Completed"

Tip: Regularly mark completed appointments to keep your booking list organized and your revenue tracking accurate.

4

Canceling and Refunding Bookings

Handle cancellations and process refunds when needed.

Canceling a Booking

  1. Open the booking you want to cancel
  2. Click "Cancel Booking"
  3. Optionally add a cancellation reason

Processing Refunds

Refunds must be processed through your payment provider:

  • Inkress: Log into your Inkress dashboard to process the refund
  • PayPal: Use the PayPal transaction details to issue a refund

Note: Canceling a booking in Juneplum does not automatically refund the customer. You must process refunds separately through your payment provider.

5
